Sounder – VAD Range

In the event of a fire, the most effective way to signal an alarm for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or who work in noisy environments is to supplement audible alarms with Visual Alarm Devices (VADs). EN 54-23 is the European standard which specifies the light output performance requirements and test criteria for VADs. Apollo has designed and manufactured a range of devices, which are approved to the EN 54-23 standard and are continuing to develop additional approved devices.
